He successfully walked on at Purdue University. He later transferred to Southern Illinois University and from there went on to play in the CFL and IFL before eventually landing with Indianapolis Colts in 2016.
Coach Eze is owner and President of Obiora Rehabilitation and Sports Performance where he has helped Athletes from Middle School, College and High School all the way up to the professional level make great transformations in their athletic performance. He was also a Strength and Conditioning coach at Ascension St Vincent Sports Performance where he trained athletes across all Sports.
The Training Program
In Sports there are many repetitive movements that can lead to muscular imbalances in the body and or some kind of repetitive use injury. Coach Eze’s training program focuses heavily on injury prevention and mobility to counteract this. The program Also looks to improve foundational athletic skills such as speed, vertical jump and agility and overall power. The ability to move well underpins his entire program as many athletes know where they need to be on the court but lack the speed and technique and even confidence to get there and make the play. Having never played football growing up Coach Eze was forced to learn how to move at his position and compete at the highest level of his sport through observation and repetition. His philosophy is that mastery of a skill is how to ensure good performance even on a “bad day” , this is how he has been able to help athletes from all levels improve their particular sports specific skills even if he didn’t play the same sport as them.
